Preschooler Busy Books
Each felt busy book can be easily unbound for pages to be added, removed or shared amongst friends.
I bought this book for my little sisters baby girl and they absolutely adore this! So brilliant for taking on journeys anywhere and very creative! I have proceeded to buy more for my friends kiddies!
Will review again once it arrives, but I had to jump at the chance to get this Hungry Caterpillar themed book for my 10 month old right when they released it. I’m sure my 3.5 year old will steal it away to play with it as well. I recently ordered several (okay, almost all) of the books for both ages and I was happy to purchase more. These books appear to be great quality and a great alternative to some of the other more over-stimulating toys they already have. I was glad to see another safe option for my 10 month old, as we already bought the Happy Hippo and Mighty Mouse for him. It will be fun to read the story to him while he has a tactile way to engage in it as he follows along. Keep them coming!!
I came across these felt “busy books” in my quest for toys to entertain and engage my two kids (3.5 and 10 months) on the plane for our upcoming trip to Hawaii. Although we haven’t received them yet, I am very excited to! I can tell by the other reviews that these will be well worth it. I love the simplicity and variety of the types of activities shown in each book. After debating which would be best for each child, I ordered several of the preschool aged and baby/toddler ones, including Brainy Bunny, Little Lamb, I See Ice Cream, the Name & Age pages, Farmyard Fun, Happy Hippo, and Mighty Mouse. I went a little overboard and I plan to collect them all! Can’t wait to gift them to my kids. I’m especially excited to gift Farmyard Fun to my 3.5 year old, who loves cooking and has recently grown curious about where food comes from. This book will be a cool way to teach her more about that.
A close friend of mine bought the busy bear book for her child. On a recent play date i noticed my daughter obsessing over it. She was preoccupied for a whole hour. Thats a win in my opinion. Absolutely convinced me to purchase one of our own. Waiting patiently for it to arrive. She will be I've the moon.
The book is better that I imagined. It has fun games and learning activities (i.e., identifying animals and matching them with the food they eat) in addition to fine-motor skills practice. As a child psychologist, I think this is an amazing book for child development. I will definitely be buying more.
